Rachel Rosa, PA-C, CCD Clinical Densitometrist

Rachel Rosa, PA-C, is a dedicated bone health specialist at the ROC Bone Institute, where she helps patients build stronger bones and live more active, confident lives.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Rachel earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University and began her career in emergency medicine. Since relocating to Chicago in 2020, she transitioned into orthopedics, with a focus on osteoporosis. As her passion grew for preventing fractures, she became a key driver behind ROC’s comprehensive fracture prevention program, ROC Bone Institute.

Rachel specializes in identifying and treating patients at risk for osteoporosis-related fractures, combining advanced diagnostics with personalized care plans that include both pharmacologic treatment and lifestyle optimization. She is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist through the International Society for Clinical Densitometry and completed advanced training with the Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Fracture Prevention Program, hosted by Anne Lake, DNP.

Committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, Rachel actively purses ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest medical research and best practices. She embraces a holistic approach to health, incorporating exercise and nutrition into her care philosophy to support overall wellness.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys reading, cooking, and staying active through cycling and weightlifting. She also loves exploring new places and has a special fondness for animals-especially cats.
